Policies for all summer camp bookings
Payment Policy
Registrations 30+ Days Before Camp
A 25% deposit is collected at registration to reserve your spot. The remaining balance is due one week before the first day of the selected camp. The deposit is refundable up to 1 week (7 days) prior to the first day of the selected camp.
Registrations Within 30 Days of Camp
Camps starting within 30 days of registration must be paid in full at the time of registration rather than with a deposit. The full amount is still subject to the cancellation and refund rules below.
Mixed Bookings
If a single registration includes both near and far camps, the near camps are paid in full and the far camps are charged the 25% deposit — both amounts are collected together at checkout.
Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling to a later camp date will be considered based on availability of later camp date openings. If no other camp dates are available then it will be considered a cancellation and we will offer a full refund if it is within a 5 day window of the first day of the summer camp. Refunds will be processed within 2 business days. No discounts can be given for late arrivals or early departures.
Cancellation Policy
Customer Cancellations
Any cancellations made by the customer outside of a 5 day window of a selected camp will get a full refund of the deposit and invoice if the invoice is already paid.
Provider Cancellations
Any cancellations made by us (the provider), full refunds will be offered for both the deposit and invoice. If we have to make a cancellation, the refund will be processed within 2 business days. However, if we offer rescheduling as a choice, the deposit and invoice amount can be transferred to a new camp date. If there is a cost difference, the amount can be refunded by us and extra time will be allowed to the customer to pay any cost difference.
Mid-Week Cancellations
Mid-week cancellations cannot be considered unless written notice is provided at least 7 days prior to the first day of camp. Once camp has started, we are unable to provide a pro-rated refund or a refund for unused days.
Weather Cancellations
Safety is our top priority. If weather or lake conditions become unsafe (e.g., lightning, high winds, or severe storms) and we have to end a camp day early, you will receive a prorated credit for the unused portion of that day, which can be applied toward a future camp or booking. The amount of the prorated credit will be determined by the Board Bound team.
Note: Light rain or cloudy conditions do not automatically qualify for an early cancellation.
Lessons
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
At Board Bound Wake Co., our sessions require advance planning, instructor scheduling, and equipment preparation. For this reason, we ask all guests to review and agree to the following cancellation and rescheduling policy when booking.
Cancellations
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before your scheduled session are eligible for a full refund or account credit.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session will incur a $50 fee.
- No-shows or failure to arrive on time will be charged the late fee.
Rescheduling
- Rescheduling is allowed if requested at least 4 hours prior to your scheduled session.
- Reschedule requests made within 4 hours of the session may be subject to additional fees at our discretion.
Weather & Safety
Safety is our top priority. If Board Bound Wake Co. determines that weather or lake conditions are unsafe (e.g., lightning, high winds, severe storms), we will reschedule your session at no additional cost.
Note: Light rain or cloudy conditions do not automatically qualify for cancellation.
Late Arrivals
- Sessions begin promptly at the scheduled time.
- Late arrivals may result in a shortened session with no price adjustment.
- Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a no-show, unless prior communication has been made to let us know.
Refund Method
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 2 business days.
